Ceramic tiles are a clay based product with a glazed surface. While porcelain is also a clay product, it is blended with other natural materials at higher temperatures making it extremely dense and near impervious to water with an absorption rate of 0.5%. The overall choice for projects including showers and high traffic areas.

That depends on the application. For example, a glossy finish is not recommended for high traffic areas or natural stone in areas with high moisture. We can recommend the best fit for your project. If you're not sure, best to consult an expert. Contact us for a free estimate.

Yes, this is possible depending on the structure and overall condition of the existing tile floor.

Ceramic tile floors can last a lifetime with proper installation and maintenance. Tile will not show wear marks like vinyl and wont squeak over time like hardwood. Making it the best choice for longevity.

In some cases, tile can be suitable for exterior applications. In warmer climates and with proper installation, it's possible to get a good product. Here in the Northeast I do not recommend it due to the harsh winters and freeze/thaw cycles.
